Druidry is a stream of magic that reveres all nature has to offer us, and is a wise and wonderful path. Recently, the SAPA community was honoured with opportunities to steep itself in the shallows of this path, thanks to the teachings of Jaime Hume, our resident Druid and a source of great knowledge. Jaime was a guest on SAPA Speaks (Thursdays at 8 PM on JessFM) a short while ago, and spoke on the virtues of unplugging from a heavily digital world, and then generously lead community members in an introductory workshop on what being a Druid is to her.
This day was a wonderful chance to build on the foundation Samantha brought us in November on Ancestor pantheons - ancestors of spirit, bone, and place. It allowed us a chance to open ourselves to these ancestors, and to learn more about the spirit of the Druid path. Jaime was a wonderful teacher. We look forward to our next chance to collaborate with her!
